Between March 2022 and September 2023 Blue and Yellow Hearts Charity helped over 320 families from Ukraine settle into life in Sydney, by providing them with essential items, emotional support, information and a place to make new friends.

I sincerely thank every single person, church, school, club, business and organisation who donated to Blue and Yellow Hearts. Without you, we would not have achieved our goals.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the Parish Council and Sisterhood of The Intercession of the Holy Virgin Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Strathfield West for letting us use their church hall.

The good news is that Blue and Yellow Hearts has not disappeared. Our focus has simply changed from helping Ukrainian displaced people in Sydney to supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. In 2025 we raised over $32,000 for the Hospitallers Medical Battalion, who save the lives of those injured by the ongoing brutal attacks by Russia. 

Our current project is to source medical and first aid supplies from local companies to ship directly to humanitarian organisations and hospitals in Eastern Ukraine.
